Welcome to The Orchards School. We are a special free school in the Borough of Trafford and part of the inspirational Bright Futures Educational Trust. Our school provision welcomes children with a wide range of learning difficulties. All children have, or are being, assessed for an Education, Health and Care Plan and placements are usually agreed via the child’s local SEN team (for further information please see the local offer)

The Orchards is a specialist free school, which opened in September 2016, to support the learning needs of disabled pupils in the North of Trafford. Our bespoke and child centred curriculum is both dynamic and exciting and we are looking for practitioners who would like to join our team and deliver this curriculum for our pupils.

Willowbank got creative this week with some lovely crafts to celebrate Father’s Day 👨👧👦💙 We hope our loved ones really enjoy their special gifts 🎁✨ We used communication boards to choose colours 🎨 and follow instructions step by step 😊 @BrightFuturesET

Riverside 3 boys continued Part 4 of their My City Manchester project 🏙️🎨 This week they explored Manchester City Football Club, painting and layering blue tissue paper to create their own City-inspired artwork 💙⚽
