Teachers and parents use Class Dojo to communicate daily. The Earwig assessment system allows parents and carers to see photo, video and written observations of their child’s progress throughout the year, parents can also upload examples of things from home. We have an open door policy to observe your child in school and arrange additional consultations with your class teacher if needed.

Regular meetings with parents and teachers

• Parent’s evening in autumn and spring term
• Annual reviews
• Parents or carers are invited to a transition review meeting six weeks after their child starts at the school.
• At this meeting, parents have the opportunity to contribute to their child’s personalised learning plan. At the six week point each child will have their own set of personalised learning targets these cover the areas of the particular curriculum which fits their needs at that time.

Home to School Transport

Passenger Transport Assistants, employed by the Local Authority, support your child on their journey to and from school. They are always happy ro relay messages.
