Woodland 5’s Exciting Visit to the Sea Life Centre

Woodland 5 had an incredible adventure this week with a visit to the Sea Life Centre at the Trafford Centre. The journey itself was a valuable learning experience, as the children used public transport to get there. They practiced important skills such as boarding a bus and waiting safely, which are essential for their independence and safety.

At the Sea Life Centre, the children were mesmerized by the diverse marine life. They had the opportunity to see a variety of sea creatures up close, including majestic sharks, enchanting jellyfish, and the magnificent giant green sea turtles, Ernie and Cammy

The children also explored different zones such as the Ocean Tunnel, Rocky Hideout, Shark Shipwreck, and Stingray Bay.

This trip not only provided educational insights but also fostered a sense of curiosity and wonder about the natural world. The children learned about marine ecosystems and the importance of conservation through interactive exhibits and engaging displays.

We are proud of Woodland 5 for their enthusiasm and excellent behaviour throughout the visit. This experience has enriched their understanding of marine life and the importance of protecting our oceans. We know this visit wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of our parent carers who always give such support to our offsite adventures – many thanks to those who supported.
